ABOUT TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

Trinidad and Tobago is a diverse nation, with a variety of religions represented.  It is one of the Caribbean’s most prosperous nations due to it’s production of petroleum and natural gas. The illicit drug trade and it’s associated crimes burden an already struggling policing/justice system and give rise to a number of social issues.

PRAYER POINTS

Redemptive Gift

The nation’s motto is, “Together we aspire, together we achieve.”  Pray that the Church would be the force that brings about the realisation of this declaration of racial unity.

Problems to be solved

The trade of illicit drugs and associated high crime rates.

Racial tension and political bias towards particular ethnic groups.

Corruption within government.

Domestic violence and female suicide.

Teen pregnancy.

Greater theological training and teaching needed to address the synchronisation of Christianity with witchcraft and other beliefs.

Signs of hope

There are several Bible Colleges and Seminaries within the nation.

Christian radio and TV programmes are broadcast on the national network.
