About the Falkland Islands
The Falkland Islands is made up of over 740 islands. With a population of just over 3000, the economy is largely driven by fishing, sheep farming and tourism. The British military is based on the islands and further contributes to the economy. Over 60% of the population identifies as Christian. Tension around land rights exists between the UK, Argentina and the Islanders.
Problems to be solved:
Pray for wisdom, justice and reconciliation in regards to land rights.
Pray for spiritual renewal and revival throughout the nation.
Pray that Christian believers would witness to fellow islanders and tourists.
Signs of hope:
Christianity is the largest religion in the Falkland Islands.
